Our Lady of La Salette On Division In Families: Stepfather Stabbed Stepdaughter 107 Times

God will allow the old serpent to cause divisions among those who reign in every society and in every family. Physical and moral agonies will be suffered. God will abandon mankind to itself and will send punishments which will follow one after the other for more than thirty-five years. Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

“The true faith to the Lord having been forgotten, each individual will want to be on his own and be superior to people of same identity, they will abolish civil rights as well as ecclesiastical, all order and all justice would be trampled underfoot and only homicides, hate, jealousy, lies and dissension would be seen without love for country or family. Heroic Seattle college student, 21, trying to save her mother from brutal attack by stepfather is fatally stabbed 107 times
A University of Washington engineering student was brutally stabbed to death after stepping in as her mother was being assaulted by her stepfather, it is claimed. Angelina Tran, 21, was stabbed a shocking 107 times earlier this month in the Seattle home she shared with her mother Linh Ngoc Tran, 50, and stepfather, Nghiep Kein Chau, 54. Chau has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder after the attack, which was captured on the home's surveillance camera. He then wrestled his stepdaughter to the floor, grabbed a 'large' knife and began stabbing her in the chest repeatedly, according to court documents. The alleged killer proceeded to change clothes, 'because of all the blood,' before selecting a different knife, a meat cleaver, to continue the attack. Angelina's mother Linh had reportedly ran to a room to hide as she called 911. When police arrived, Chau was still 'holding a large bloody fixed-blade kitchen style knife.' Prosecutors say Chau has admitted that he intended to kill Linh before police arrived. Police say they took him into custody 'as he was coming down the stairs inside their home, still armed with a knife.' He reportedly said, 'I killed somebody,' as he was arrested. Chau also told police through an interpreter that he was upset because he believed his wife was going to divorce him and take all his money. 'This murder appeared to be the result of anger at his stepdaughter for intervening in the defendant’s attack on her mother. Angelina Tran’s intervention allowed her mother to escape and hide in a nearby bedroom, but the defendant did not stop his attack,' said the criminal complaint against him. Chau and Angelina's mother had reportedly been together for nearly 20 years, meaning he had known his stepdaughter for most of her life. He is being held at the King County Correctional Facility on a $5million bond. A GoFundMe page for Angelina has already surpassed its goal of $15.000 by thousands. '[Angelina] graced our lives as an incredible daughter, a cherished friend, and above all, a perfect girlfriend. Her dedication and hard work were truly admirable. The pain of her absence is profound as she was a gem of a human being,' the page reads. 'All contributions received will be directed towards the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging, reflecting Angelina's spirit and her commitment to making a difference in the lives of elderly individuals.'
