Who Said It Self Indulgent Foodie Steve Skojec Or Self Indulgent Foodie Pope Francis?

Who said it?

Fat Foodie Steve Skojec?

Or

Fat Foodie Pope Francis?

1. He saw Truth as a juicy, thick, perfectly cooked steak – something you could really sink your teeth into. He saw Beauty as a fine glass of French burgundy – something delicate, robust, and timeless. He saw Goodness as the smoky taste of toasted tobacco – something satisfying, mystifying, and captivating.

2. Pleasure derives directly from God, it is neither Catholic, nor Christian, nor anything else, it is simply divine, the pleasure of eating and sexual pleasure come from God

3. The treasures of our Faith must be savored. The secular culture offers only bitter fruits. The real delicacies are right in front of us.

4. Steaks, wine, and cigars also reflect the intoxicating incense, the haunting chants, the rays of light through stained glass, the rich textures of priestly vestments. These sensory experiences are also worth savoring.

5. Overzealous morality which denied pleasure which is a wrong interpretation of the Christian message.

6. The Church – like steaks, alcohol, and cigars – is considered unhealthy by modern society.

7. The pleasure of eating is there to keep you healthy by eating, just like sexual pleasure is there to make love more beautiful and guarantee the perpetuation of the species
