The double-decker bus will tour Greater Manchester and Lancashire and have priests available to hear Confession Pope Francis has given his blessing to the Diocese of Salford’s Mercy Bus, which will soon be touring parts of Greater Manchester and Lancashire. The double-decker bus will have priests available to hear Confession, or just to talk and listen to people. It will also have live music and volunteers distributing leaflets to passers-by and inviting them on board. The bus is a response to Pope Francis’s announcement of the jubilee year last March. A crash involving a school bus in eastern France has left two children dead, according to reports. The crash occurred at 7.40am on Wednesday in Montflovin in the Doubs département of eastern France. Six pupils were killed in the second fatal school bus crash in France in just two days, after a truck's side panel sliced through the side of the vehicle. The deadly accident occurred in the Charente-Maritime département in western France. The number of people killed when a bus crashed into a truck in northern Ghana has risen to 71, medical officials say. The Metro Mass Transit coach reportedly collided head-on with a cargo truck carrying tomatoes near the town of Kintampo on Wednesday evening. The Day My Megabus Caught Fire 
Yesterday was my first time taking Megabus, a discount intercity bus service that began in 2006 and quickly gained notoriety for advertising fares as low as $1 each way. Yesterday was also the first time I had to evacuate a bus as it was catching fire. I was just closing my eyes when we pulled over to the side of the interstate 50 minutes into the trip from Chicago to Milwaukee. I hadn’t noticed that there was a problem, but others, like a fellow passenger, Lauren Wurdinger, said they smelled the burning coming from the bus almost immediately. The driver got out, re-entered the bus a few minutes later, and we drove on. Minutes later, we stopped again and the driver exited again; we eventually continued.
